With a view to promoting Burundian culture and traditions around the world, the Youth Organization for the Development of Traditional Culture, TDC Burundi, has appointed Haruna Ikoriciza as its ambassador in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
As ambassador, Haruna Ikoriciza has a mission to promote the Gulf countries about the various traditional and cultural products of Burundi. It will also be tasked with ensuring effective communication and maintaining a policy of presentation of indigenous and cultural products through projects related to tourism, agriculture, and livestock. His experience in the cultural field, in particular with Ikoh Multiservice will be useful to him in accomplishing this mission.
He also invited Burundian cultural actors to work together to develop the country’s cultural industries and spread them across borders. This nomination represents an important first step towards that goal.
It’s worth noting that Haruna Ikoriciza has a well established track record in the music industry. Through Ikoh Multiservice, he has initiated many projects, including the famous “You’ll Love Changes”, a project that has enabled the promotion and value of many Burundian artists. He has also collaborated with various Burundian, East African and international artist.
